Community Specialist (Front Desk Sales Associate) – MindFuel Method
Overview
MindFuel Method, launching in Spring 2025, is Pittsburgh’s first guided contrast therapy studio, offering sauna, cold plunge, and breathwork experiences that empower transformation and community connection. As a Community Specialist, you are the welcoming face and voice of MindFuel, ensuring our guests feel seen, heard, and cared for. From assisting with memberships to maintaining a pristine space, you are a key contributor to fostering an inclusive, uplifting environment for all who enter.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly, provide check-ins, and facilitate seamless studio experiences.
- Manage customer communications via phone, email, and text, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
- Build rapport and deepen connections with members by learning names, understanding needs, and supporting goals.
- Drive membership and retail sales with enthusiasm and educated insight into our offerings.
- Maintain studio cleanliness, including cleaning tasks and resetting the space between sessions.
- Assist Guides in supporting class transitions, ensuring a smooth flow between sauna and cold plunge sessions.
- Oversee bookings, memberships, and transactions using our client management software (training provided).
- Provide thoughtful feedback and updates to management regarding customer service needs or operational improvements.
Physical Requirements
- Work on feet up to 8 hours
- Move, pull, carry of lift up to 20 lbs
- Must be able to kneel, bend, reach and climb
- Able to work in environment with large temperature variations
Qualifications
- Must be available to work 2-3 shifts per week; ability to work a flexible schedule including, early mornings, late nights, weekends and some holidays (open year round).

- Proficiency with computers, Mariana Tek (client booking software).
- Previous customer service and administrative experience required; fitness, wellness industry and sales experience preferred.
